No work day

We've already discussed how I don't work much, and today was one of those days. I got dressed and extensively made up, and the only thing I ended up doing? Going to the supermarket. Twice...
Mostly just looked at Internets.

(Sick as a) Dog day

So, we made target, then this happened:

Germs, bugs, viruses

I’m sick all the flipping time

No cat for my bed

And you'd think, that would give me time to write heaps of new material? Nope, I've been spending all my time googling 'black plague symptoms' and blowing my nose. 

Work life

So, I rarely work. Through no fault of my own, I might add. Aaaand it's almost the end of the financial year so I really hope we're doing well.

So, to say I spend a lot of time on the Internet is an understatement. It's also winter where I live, so the attraction of going outside isn't that high at the moment. So today's tiny poem is dedicated to my love/hate relationship with the World Wide Web.

Lolcats steal my time

Use up all my internet

Look at me they plead

Television

Tomorrow our flatmate is leaving, taking with him his old-gaming machines, odd food and the television. A few days before that, our Sky TV (Cable to those from the other side of la earth) cheap subscription finished, so we shut it down. I think most of our housemates still have televisions lurking in their bedrooms, but the common area is now just inhabited by two record players and several amps and speakers. Today's Haiku is an ode to the 'goggle box':

Watch television
There is always nothing on
My brain feels sluggish

Some procrastination will still be present, it's not like we're doing something rash like getting rid of the Internet.
